We Love Piggie and Elephant!

Every year I write a post about how much we love Piggie and Elephant books by Mo Willems!  They are so funny and perfect for beginning readers.  Any parents looking for the perfect series to get your child hooked into reading, go check out these books from the library!  We also love to use them for read to someone in our classroom.  One student will read for Piggie and another student will read for Gerald, the elephant.  We are counting down the days until the new book comes out... "I'm a Frog!"
We've been reading aloud a Piggie and Elephant book everyday, and I just love to hear the students laugh and anticipate what is going to happen next!  Makes learning so much fun!
