Meet Mrs. Howard

Hello!  My name is Nicole Howard, and this will be my 12th year of teaching.  I have taught a variety of grades, but teaching the first and second grade multi-age has been one of my favorites!  Each year has been a memorable year due to the wonderful students at Lanesboro!

I am originally from Baldwin, WI.  I attended UW-River Falls and graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.  In 2011, I completed my Master's in Literacy from St. Mary's University.  I love teaching all the subject areas, but I especially love reading and writing.  In the primary grades, it is so rewarding to watch students grow as readers and writers.

Outside of school I stay very busy with my husband and two children.  Mason who is 8, and Ellie who is 5, keep us running to their favorite activities of baseball, football, basketball, and gymnastics.  I also love to run and be active, bake, read, and scrapbook.

I look forward to working with you and your child this year! Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
